{"id":137,"date":"2021-08-26T11:56:42","date_gmt":"2021-08-26T11:56:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/udyamregistration.org.in\/blog\/?p=137"},"modified":"2022-02-25T16:23:48","modified_gmt":"2022-02-25T10:53:48","slug":"how-to-update-udyog-aadhar-to-udyam-registration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/udyamregistration.org.in\/blog\/how-to-update-udyog-aadhar-to-udyam-registration\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Update Udyog Aadhar to Udyam Registration"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><br><strong>Why to update your old Udyog Aadhar?<\/strong><br>The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) released its notification dated&nbsp;6th August 2020&nbsp;and has provided information on the existing Entrepreneurs Memorandum (EM) \/Udyog Aadhar Memorandum (UAM) and regarding the New MSME registration known as &#8220;<strong>Udyam Registration<\/strong>&#8220;.<br><br>As per the official notification, the existing MSMEs registered under the&nbsp;<strong>Entrepreneur Memorandum EM \u2013 Part-II or Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum UAM (MSME \/ Udyog Aadhaar)&nbsp;<\/strong>will be valid until a period of 31st December 2021.<br><br>So updating your old Udyog Aadhar to new Udyam registration becomes important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The existing enterprises under&nbsp;<strong>EM- part II or UAM&nbsp;<\/strong>will have to register again on the Udyam Registration Portal. It has been effective from 01st July 2020, and many have already registered under Udyam.
